Artist Mary Pratt wins national honour

Whether it's cod fillets on tin foil, a poppyseed cake or a plastic container of peaches, she transforms simple domestic objects into a piece of work that can only be described as a Mary Pratt.
The CBC's Beth Macdonell recently paid a visit to Pratt's St. John's home. Pratt generously gave Macdonell a tour of her unique house, and insight into the process that makes her one of the province's best-known artists.
