$7M Lotto 6/49 ticket sold in St. John's

Someone who recently bought a lottery ticket in St. John's could be in for the best day of their life.

Atlantic Lotto said someone purchased the winning 6/49 ticket in the city this week.

The company is still looking for the lucky winner.

Whoever bought the ticket will be $7-million richer when they turn in their ticket. 

One of the second-place payouts was also sold in Newfoundland and Labrador.

That prize is valued at just under $25,000.
