Where, when and how to watch The Tragically Hip concert
Watching parties planned throughout province for what may be band's final concert
A great number of Canadians have already planned to spend their Saturday evening with The Hip, and New Brunswick is no exception.
The quintessentially Canadian band is holding what could possibly be their final concert in their home town of Kingston, Ont., tonight.
While the band decided not to make any stops east of Montreal on this tour, there are plenty of ways to view tonight's concert.

When and How
CBC's broadcast of the concert, titled "The Tragically Hip: A National Celebration," will begin at 9:30 p.m. It will be broadcast uninterrupted and without commercials.
For those who want to experience the full audio-visual experience the concert will be broadcast on the main CBC television channel. It will also be streamed live globally on CBCMusic.ca, and on the CBC Music Android and Apple apps.
Those who are away from their various screens can still listen to the concert live on CBC Radio One, and Two, as well as on Sirius XM Radio all over North America.
Where
If you want to experience the concert with fellow Hip fans many viewing parties are scheduled around the province.
Fredericton
Officers' Square will be host to not only the Hip broadcast, but a whole slate of other acts as well. Fredericton acts The Hypochondriacs, Kill Chicago, Grand Theft Bus and others will perform starting at 3:30 p.m.. Food trucks and a beer garden serving local craft brews will also be on hand.
Saint John
The port city will have two options on where to view The Hip's concert. Market Square will be showcasing the concert as part of its Cajun Roots Festival. Joe Murphy and the Cajun Blues Band will take the stage at 7 p.m. as an opening act.
Imperial Theatre will also be screening the concert on its big screen. Tickets are sold out, but names are being placed on a waiting list in the event of cancellations.
Fundy National Park
The screening will be part of the park's Rising Tide Festival. Other acts that will perform are Matt Minglewood and Earthbound Trio. Music starts at 12:30 p.m.
