The trial dates for the man charged in connection with the deaths of Noah and Connor Barthe of Campbellton have been changed.
The brothers, aged four and six, died by asphyxiation by an African rock python on August 4, 2013.
39-year-old Jean-Claude Savoie of Montreal, and formerly of Campbellton, is charged with one count of criminal negligence causing the deaths of the boys.
The python was being kept in the same apartment where the boys were staying for a sleepover.
The trial, originally set for September of 2016, will now be held from October 31 to November 11, 2016.
This is being done to accommodate witnesses who will be called during the trial.
