2 in critical condition after vehicle hits 2 telephone poles

Two people are in hospital in critical condition after being thrown from a vehicle when it left Highway 109 in Three Brooks, near Plaster Rock, and hit two telephone poles.

RCMP say neither occupant wore a seatbelt

Two people are in hospital in critical condition after being thrown from a vehicle when it left Highway 109, in Three Brooks, near Plaster Rock and hit two telephone poles.  

Police say it's believed neither person was wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred on Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. 

The two occupants of the vehicle were a 32-year-old man from Plaster Rock and a 24-year-old woman from Oakland. 

Police say the investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
