Teachers reach tentative contract with province

The New Brunswick government has reached a tentative contract agreement with the New Brunswick Teachers' Federation.

Terms of the deal are not being disclosed until after a ratification vote is held.

More than 7,500 teachers, supply teachers, vice-principals and principals are covered by the tentative agreement.

The previous contract between the province and the teachers federation expired as of March 1, 2016.
