Fredericton police officer pleads not guilty to drunk driving
A not guilty plea to a charge of impaired driving was entered in court on behalf of Fredericton police officer Darrell Brewer on Tuesday.
Darrell Ian Brewer will stand trial on impaired driving charge in April
A Fredericton police officer pleaded not guilty to a charge of impaired driving on Tuesday morning.
Darrell Ian Brewer was not present in court on Tuesday but was represented by a lawyer.
He was given a trial date of April 27 and 28.
Brewer was charged following a single-vehicle accident on Fredericton's north side on Aug. 23.
He was off duty at the time of the incident and has been suspended with pay since it occurred.
Brewer is one of two Fredericton police officers facing an impaired driving charge.
