The owner of a hotel in western Newfoundland was in Moncton on Friday to pick up his $5 million lottery prize.
Martin House says he plans to share his winnings with his children.
House won the Lotto 6-4-9 draw held February 21.
He is a regular player and says his friend phoned and told him to check his numbers because there was a winning 6/49 ticket in his hometown of Corner Brook.
House says he had two more people check the numbers before he believed he'd won.
