Alan Sears is a professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of New Brunswick. He is an expert in education policy and citizenship education. His most recent research has focused on how children and young people understand ideas that revolve around citizenship. He is also serving as the associate editor for the journal, Citizenship Teaching and Learning.
