Alternate routes, temporary exits to come into effect as part of Turcot Interchange work
The access ramps to Highway 20 at the Montreal West interchange will be completely closed as of 11 p.m. Saturday night until well into 2019.
The interchange will be rebuilt, the railroad moved and Highway 20 re-jigged for the new Turcot Interchange.
The construction will mean:
- The ramp from Highway 20 and Route 138 East to Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Boulevard will be closed.
- The ramp from Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Boulevard to Highway 20 west will be open.
- The ramp from Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Boulevard to the 138 West and the Mercier Bridge will be closed.
- The ramp from Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Boulevard to Montreal-Toronto Boulevard and Richmond Street will be closed.
Several detour paths will be put in place to direct drivers to alternate routes.
A temporary exit from Route 138 to Notre-Dame Street West will be built overnight from Saturday to Sunday.
