Woman stabbed in supermarket in St-Michel

A woman is in hospital in critical condition after being stabbed at a supermarket in the St-Michel neigbourhood, Montreal police said.

A woman in her late 20s is in critical condition after being stabbed at a supermarket in the St-Michel neigbourhood, Montreal police said.

The attack happened at 8:35 p.m. on Sunday inside the Maxi supermarket at the corner of Crémazie Boulevard and Papineau Street, Const. Jean-Pierre Brabant said.

The attacker, a man, fled on foot. Police have set up a perimeter as they search for a suspect.
