St-Denis Street reopens after gas leak

Montreal's St-Denis Street is once again open to traffic in both directions following a gas leak earlier this morning between Roy and Gilford streets.

Montreal's St-Denis Street is once again open to traffic in both directions following a gas leak earlier this morning between Roy and Gilford streets.

The street had been closed for more than an hour, starting at around 9 a.m.

The closed area has been expanded to between Roy and Gilford Streets. (google maps/google.com)

Circulation in the area was already compromised due to ongoing construction work.
