Montreal expects snow removal from back-to-back storms will take until Friday
Slippery driving conditions in greater Montreal region as snowy weather continues
Environment Canada's snowfall warning, issued early Monday morning, has now ended. This latest dump has left Montrealers with 15 more centimetres of snow to deal with, even as they're still digging out from last week's snowstorm.
People travelling by in their own vehicles today will find it slow going, and commuters who use public transit should also expect delays.

—@CBCMontrealEnvironment Canada meteorologist Simon Legault said light and powdery snow could cause reduced visibility, if it gets caught in the wind.
"Having that 40 centimetres of snow, and add to that 10 to 15 centimetres Monday, it's unusual but not a unique event," he said.
The agency predicts another 10 centimetres of snow will fall on Thursday.
City of Montreal spokesperson Philippe Sabourin said that city workers are plowing the new snow, even while last week's dump is being loaded onto trucks. That's slowing down the pace of clearing the streets, he said.
He said the snow removal operation is still expected to be completed by Friday, but a second might be needed, depending on how much snow falls Thursday.
