A group of young men assembled at the Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar Sikh temple in LaSalle to play a pick-up game of soccer.

It was in protest of a recent ruling by the Quebec Soccer Federation to maintain a ban on turbans on the field.

The QSF said it was simply maintaining rules set by FIFA, the international soccer association, about accessories worn during play.
