Search continues for man after Rivière des Prairies boating accident

Divers with the Quebec provincial police are continuing their search today for a missing man in the Rivière des Prairies this morning.

23-year-old man went missing Saturday evening

A boat carrying nine people crashed into a ferry on Saturday evening. Search crews are still looking for one man who was swept away by the current. (Radio-Canada)

Divers with the Quebec provincial police are continuing their search today for a missing man in the Rivière des Prairies this morning.

The 23-year-old disappeared in the water after a collision in the river between his boat and a ferry on Saturday. 

Laval police spokesman Franco Di Genova said divers searched all day Sunday.

"They will be back there today because we have not found the young man's body yet," he said.

The Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation into the collision.
