Russell Peters, Seth Rogen top Just For Laughs 2014 lineup

Montreal's Just For Laughs comedy festival unveiled its lineup today, and it's topped by some of the biggest names in comedy.

Montreal's Just For Laughs comedy festival unveiled its lineup today, and it's topped by some of the biggest names in comedy.

Comedian James Adomian was on hand to help programming director Robbie Praw announce the lineup just up the street from the Just For Laughs headquarters in Montreal.

At today's announcement, Just For Laughs named American Bill Burr as its stand-up comedian of the year.

As for shows, Don Rickles, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg and Aziz Ansari will host galas this year.

Part of the proceeds from Rogen's gala will go toward the actor's Alzheimer's charity, Hilarity For Charity.

Kate McKinnon of Saturday Night Live and Nick Offerman of Parks and Recreation will partake in Talk Of the Fest. 

Other performers include Marc Maron, Tommy Tiernan, Alonzo Bodden, Paul F. Thompkins, the casts of Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Broad City, as well as SNL head writer Colin Jost with a show entitled What Would Beyoncé Do? 

Perennial favourites like The Nasty Show, The Relationship Show and The Ethnic Show will also return to the stage. 

Juste pour rire, Just For Laughs's French-language counterpart, runs concurrently from July 12-26. Its lineup features André Sauvé, Rachid Badouri and Pierre Richard III.
