Rosemont cyclist Justine Charland St-Amour remembered by colleagues
Old Port coworkers converged at the site of the crash to pay tribute
A group of Old Port workers who have been on strike for three months suspended their pressure tactics this morning to pay tribute to a friend and colleague who died in a collision with a truck yesterday.
Justine Charland St-Amour was riding her bicycle when she was struck and killed at the intersection of d'Iberville Street and Rosemont Boulevard Monday afternoon.
Today, her coworkers gathered at the scene of the collision to lay flowers and show their respect
"She was one of the smiliest people," said Gabriel Morisette, a co-worker of Charland St-Amour who attended the gathering.
"She would never be mad at anyone. Even though customers sometimes were rough with us, she would always greet them with a smile. She's a really genuinely good person."
"It's hard to understand that something like this can happen to you at that age. It's way too soon," Morisette added.
The crash is still under investigation.
