Paris attacks: Montrealers honour victims with moment of silence
Solemn moment of silence will take place downtown Monday at noon
For the fourth straight day, Montrealers assembled at a memorial for the victims of the Paris attacks that saw over 129 killed and 352 injured.
Participants observed a moment of silence at noon at Place des Arts, at the corner of Jeanne-Mance Street and Ste-Catherine Street W.

The event was organized by Place des Arts and also featured performances of Beethoven's Ode to Joy by Opéra de Montréal and singer Lynda Thalie performed Imagine by John Lennon.
Other local artists on hand included Lorraine Pintal, Michel Dumont, Margie Gillis, Monique Proulx, Catherine Pogonat and Dany Laferrière.
Politicians in attendance included Mayor Denis Coderre, Quebec Cultural Minister Hélène David, International Relations Minister Christine Saint-Pierre and Québec Solidaire MNA Manon Massé
The ceremony follows a trio of weekend memorial events and vigils, including a spontaneous candlelight vigil Friday night outside the French consulate on McGill College as well as another well-attended march organized by Mayor Denis Coderre Sunday afternoon.
