The Sûreté du Québec have arrested two men in connection with alleged sexual contact and sexual exploitation of minors.

Jean Simon, 73, from Magog, and Ross Perrin, 62, from Montreal, were arrested as part of a three-year investigation led by the SQ called Operation Malaise.

In early 2016, the same police operation led Ontario and Quebec investigators to arrest 15 men in connection with an alleged pedophile ring.

According to the SQ, the individuals allegedly exchanged information about their sexual experiences with children in online discussion forums.

The SQ is asking anyone with information about Simon and Perrin to contact them at 1-800-659-4262.
