Gideon Arthurs is six months into his tenure as the new CEO of the National Theatre School and is determined to make the NTS an integral part of the city that surrounds it.
He's currently hard at work organizing community conversations about the connection the school shares with Montreal.
Arthurs, the former general manager of Tarragon Theatre in Toronto, moved to Villeray with his playwright wife, Erin Shields, and his two daughters in the summer of 2014.
The 35-year-old's ultimate goal is to raise the NTS's profile and help make it a vital part of Canada's vibrant theatre community.
