Projet Montréal's Richard Bergeron answers your questions
Projet Montréal's Richard Bergeron sits down for a live chat, moderated by Daybreak's Shawn Apel.
Over the course of Montreal’s municipal election campaign, Daybreak will bring you interviews with the four main mayoral candidates. We’re giving you a chance to ask your own questions following our radio interview.
This week: Projet Montréal's Richard Bergeron.
Bergeron first ran for mayor under the Projet Montréal banner in the 2005 election. Gathering only eight percent of the vote in that election, he received 25 percent in his mayoral race in 2009.
This election, Bergeron wants Projet Montréal to emphasize three major issues: transparency, housing, and the expansion of public transportation. Among his more concrete goals is building a tramway system in the city and extending the metro to Anjou within four years.
