Maurice 'Mom' Boucher preliminary hearing delayed
Former Hells Angels boss, daughter Alexandra Mongeau charged with conspiracy to commit murder
A preliminary inquiry into a trial for Hell's Angels boss Maurice "Mom" Boucher, his daughter Alexandra Mongeau, and associate Gregory Woolley was suspended after only a few minutes this morning.
Defence lawyers for Woolley and Boucher filed motions at the Gouin courthouse, forcing Quebec Court Judge Marco LaBrie to delay proceedings indefinitely.
Outside the court room, the lawyers would not explain the motions, but Crown prosecutor François Lanthier told reporters that both Woolley and Boucher's lawyers are contesting the fact that the trial has moved to the Gouin courthouse. Woolley's attorney is also contesting his client's detention conditions.
LaBrie said these motions have to be presented to Quebec Superior Court, delaying proceedings for now.

Lanthier said he does not know whether he'll argue against the motions yet.
Mongeau, Boucher and Woolley are accused of conspiracy to murder a rival gang member, Raynald Desjardins.
