Meet the 2016 CBC Sing-In choristers
Annual Christmas Sing-In takes place Dec. 11 at Church of St. Andrew and St. Paul
This year's CBC Christmas Sing-In benefits West Island Community Shares, a group that supports 40 community organizations.
Last year's Sing-In raised more than $50,000 for the NDG Food Depot.
On Dec. 11, CBC Montreal's Christmas Sing-In will take place at the Church of St. Andrew & St. Paul on Sherbrooke Street and the neighbouring Bourgie Hall on a simulcast.

Some of the choir members who will perform have been singing for 50 years, like Nathaniel Watson.
Charlotte Cumberbirch is participating in her fourth Sing-In. But she has been involved with choirs since she was a child.
Some sing low. Desmond Byrne is a second bass.
And some sing high, like soprano Stephanie Manias.
All agree that it's the people that keep them coming back year after year. Stéphanie Akré has been with the chorus for about four seasons.
Many have become close friends outside of rehearsal.
Peter Koniers says he's looking forward to performing a mix of classic Christmas music for the crowds on Sunday.
Some of the choir members even have a few tricks up their sleeve. Anna Mizera says every good chorister has cough drops, Chapstick and more.
But first, here's a sneak preview of what some of the choristers have in store.
All donations collected at CBC Montreal's 37th annual Christmas Sing-In on Sunday will go to West Island Community Shares.
If you would like to secure a seat, show up at the church at the corner of Sherbrooke West and Redpath streets by noon to pick up your entrance bracelet.
Doors open at 2 p.m. and the Sing-In starts at 3 p.m. sharp.
This will also be the first year the Sing-In will be streamed live on Facebook. You can also stream the 2016 Christmas Sing-In at cbcmusic.ca/singin, starting on Dec. 16.
