A 31-year-old cyclist is now in stable condition after he was hit by a truck making a right-hand turn in Greenfield Park Monday afternoon.
Longueuil police say the driver of the truck is a 29-year-old man, who apparently did not see the cyclist to his right as he was turning onto Grande Allée Boulevard from Adam Street.
They say the cyclist suffered injuries to his upper body. He was taken to hospital, where he was initially in critical condition, but police say he has since improved and his life is no longer in danger.
The collision happened at about 3:15 p.m. Adam Street was reopened later that evening.
