Homerun host Sue Smith interviewed Montreal author Saleema Nawaz about her book, Bone and Bread.

Farah Mohamed, the founder and CEO of G(irls)20, is defending Nawaz's book on Canada Reads next week.

At Indigo, Homerun explored into a variety of themes from Bone and Bread, including family secrets, struggling with an eating disorder and reuniting with long-lost family members.

Sue Smith also sat down with two of Quebec's best-known siblings, musicians Jane and Anna McGarrigle, to talk about sisterhood – and what it's like for the sisters to work and create together.

There were also live music performances from Les Soeurs Boulay from 3:00 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET.
