The government of Quebec is refusing to back down on proposed tuition fee hikes, even as thousands of students staged another protest, this time in Quebec City.
Education Minister Line Beauchamp said the government expected student outrage and is prepared to weather the storm of protests.
The proposed increases would raise tuition in the province by around $1,600 over five years.
