Montreal police have arrested two men who they believe may be connected to several burglaries in the West Island and in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Police arrested Jason Robinson, 36, and Marc-André Charlebois, 32, after a break-in in Dollard-Des-Ormeaux on March 24.

Police say they found the two men in possession of goods stolen from homes in Vaudreuil-Dorion in March. They were charged on March 27 of breaking and entering and conspiracy.

Police are investigating to see if Robinson and Charlebois are connected to a rash of other burglaries in the West Island since January.

Several homes were broken into while their owners were absent, according to police. The stolen items include cash, jewelry, watches and other precious objects.
