Crown spokesperson Jean-Pascal Boucher says Marie-Hélène Giroux gave her resignation on Oct. 26.
Boucher says she is leaving for personal reasons and on good terms.

Boucher could not say when her final day would be.
Applebaum is facing 14 charges including fraud, conspiracy and breach of trust.
The charges are related to events that are alleged to have happened during his time as borough mayor of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce.
