Meet our 2023 CBC charity of the year
Food banks of Quebec will be highlighted this holiday season
Congratulations to Food Banks of Quebec, CBC Quebec's selected charity this year.
Throughout December, we will collaborate with the organization to showcase the work they do and share stories of people in our communities who are making a difference.

Food Banks of Quebec has 32 independent regional members and serve more than 1,200 local community organizations. Their mission is to support them by pooling and increasing resources and expertise, ensuring access to nutritious foodstuff for vulnerable populations throughout Quebec.
Martin Munger, executive director of Food Banks of Quebec, is looking forward to highlighting the daily work the organization's members and team do to fight food insecurity.
"It is such an honour to be selected as CBC's Charity of the Year. For the last 35 years, our network has provided food assistance to those in need throughout the province. Today more than ever, we welcome the support of our communities so we can answer the record-breaking number of requests made by our vulnerable neighbours," he says.
During the month of December, CBC will be working with Food Banks of Quebec to showcase stories of people in our community who are making a difference for our "Make the Season Kind" campaign.
