June's Do Crew will team up with Centre Greene as it marks its 25th with a community party & fundraiser
UPDATE: This month's Do Crew is full! Thanks so much to all you for getting in touch to express an interest in volunteering at the Centre Greene's Community Carnival. This month the Do Crew is thrilled to be celebrating its second anniversary and it only seems fitting that we'll be helping the Centre Greene mark its 25th year in the community.
The Centre Greene is a non-profit community centre based in Westmount, but serves Montrealers from across the island.
The Centre welcomes kids who stream through the doors for the after-school program, and caregivers often gather there to have a chat and a coffee together. Seniors who venture out to lunch together there and in the summer the centre is taken over by kids for the nine-week summer camp.
This year the group is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a community carnival and fundraiser. There will be a range of games, bouncy castles and free classes for kids and adults on Saturday, June 20. There will also be a raffle and a BBQ. The funds raised will go towards resurfacing the gym floor, which is used by over 200 children and 100 adults every week.
If you are interested in volunteering, here is what you need to know:
