Voted as the worst in Montreal, it's ranked sixth on the list of worst roads in the province.

CAA-Quebec says voters had to take a number of factors into consideration when voting in the annual campaign. Among the criteria: the number of potholes and the placement and width of cycling paths.

"Potholes, asphalt crumbling and falling into the river, a bike path with 97 utility poles sunk right in the middle, no sidewalk in some spots — these are just a few problems that typify this road," Corinne Tastayre wrote in her vote for Gouin Boulevard East.

"This, despite the fact that it's designated as a heritage and scenic road."
