Bus stuck in street hole

A city bus had to be evacuated Wednesday morning after it got stuck in a large hole in Montreal East.
Firefighters freed about 25 passengers and the driver, but no one was hurt. (CBC)

A city bus had to be evacuated Wednesday morning after it got stuck in a large hole in Montreal East.

The bus was being driven over what looked like a large puddle when it sank into the hole at the corner of Durocher Avenue and Sainte-Catherine Street East, according to the Montreal transit corporation.

Firefighters had to free about 25 passengers and the driver, but no one was hurt.
