Starting today, people who use the Beaubien Metro station will have to hop on a shuttle bus or find alternate transportation.

The station will be closed until the end of August as it undergoes $4.3 million worth of repairs.

During that time, the STM is running a shuttle service that will connect Beaubien to the nearest metro stops on the orange line (Jean-Talon and Rosemont).

The transit authority said the buses would run every two to six minutes during rush hour and at a minimum of 10-minute intervals the rest of the day.

The renovations at Beaubien Metro will include a new ventilation shaft, replacing the stairs, new lighting, and fixing the floors and walls on the train platforms.
