Morning assault in downtown Winnipeg sends female to hospital

A female is listed in stable condition after being assaulted downtown this morning.

Winnipeg police say she was assaulted just before 8 a.m. Tuesday at Broadway and Edmonton Street.

The victim, whose age police have not released, was sent to hospital.

No arrests have yet been made.
