Winnipeggers treated to acts of kindness in Old Market Square
The United Way is handing out a little bit of kindness to Winnipeggers.
During the noon hour Wednesday, volunteers will be at the corner of King Street and Bannatyne Avenue in Old Market Square, giving out goodies.
The so-called Kindness Brigade will also be encouraging Winnipeggers to pay it forward, by doing something kind for someone else next Wednesday, June 3. The United Way has deemed that day as "Conscious Kindness Day."
It's part of Winnipeg Wednesdays, a month-long series of events to celebrate the agency's 50th anniversary.
