A pop-up store for Winnipeg's homeless will be up from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday on Robinson Street.

The Street Store will offer food, gift cards, water bottles, clothing and more for free outside the Indian and Metis Friendship Centre.

A free bus service is also planned from a variety of shelters across the city so people can access the store.

For months, Winnipeg Freestyle Group has taken in tons of donations, including $1,000 worth of children's snowsuits, hundreds of toothbrushes and 550 pairs of warm gloves. Free haircuts will also be offered all day.

Last year, the event brought in more than 900 homeless and needy people.
