Nearby resident Elsie Boulay does not know the Curtis family but said she felt compelled to bring flowers to the area after hearing about her story on the news and seeing posters of Curtis in her apartment building.
"We deal with mental health issues at [Grace] hospital with my son," Boulay said.
Boulay said she hopes the flowers let the family know they are not alone.
