Suspect, 41, charged in River Heights, West End break-ins
Man charged with numerous property-related offences
A 41-year-old man has been charged with numerous property-related offences after several break-ins in Winnipeg's River Heights and West End areas between January and April.
Police believe the culprit would bike down back lanes looking for opportunities to break into garages and parked vehicles, causing property damage, police said.

On Tuesday, police said they responded to a call from a resident on Oxford Street who reported suspicious activity at around 5 a.m. The suspect was taken into custody shortly afterwards.
The arrest is in addition to two other people arrested on April 20. Police said they have been charged with multiple break-ins in the River Heights area.
Residents in the area were concerned about an alleged spike in break-ins and started a Facebook group called the Smashed Window Club in 2015. The page is used to report and share information.
