A pair of protective geese led their babies on a wild journey across busy Winnipeg streets Wednesday before they found refuge on the Red River.
The family of birds was found by a busy intersection near Main Street.
A group of people came together to help herd the gaggle to safety.
It was touch and go while the geese risked it all to cross Main.
But they made it, wobbling down side streets until they reached the welcoming waters of the Red River.
