This delightful and popping production of Hyronomous A. Frog features a rap throw down about table manners; a sneering and spoiled princess/toddler in a tiara; and a sword fight with a memory lapse.

It's all great fun on and off stage as we follow the tale of The Frog Prince. Only a princess' kiss will break the curse and transform the fly-hating frog back into his natural human form.

The lead role is played by Matthew Lupu, who joyously hops, high kicks, and quotes Shakespeare in shame. Strong performances are delivered by all. Actress Kelley Hirst, as Aunt Queen Bea, lands her one-liners with a subtle nod and wink.

As Delphinum the handmaiden, Bostyn Evans must play straight-woman for the duration, with the exception of a campy and deliciously mocking imitation of Sir Lance-A-Lot Pants A-Lot. Performers Ken Stone and Jacob Janzen, as the knight and his page Arthur, use Monty Python as their touchstone to great success.
