Another person has now come forward to police, saying they were sexually assaulted on multiple occasions by a Winnipeg taekwondo instructor.

The alleged victim told police the assaults happened between 2001 and 2005, when they were under the age of 16, and enrolled as a student at Kang's Academy.

On Monday, King Yeung was charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation in connection with the incidents. He remains in custody since being first arrested on May 4.

He was charged again on May 9 when a second alleged victim went to police.

The first two complainants allege Yeung inappropriately touched them and sexually assaulted them while they were also students at Kang's Academy on McPhillips Street. One alleges the incidents happened between 2009 and 2012, while the other alleges they were assaulted between 1998 and 2004.

Both alleged victims said were under the age of 16 at the time.

None of the allegations against Yeung, 57, has been proven in court.

The investigation is ongoing involving members of the police service's sex crimes unit.
