Fans of summer and fans of hockey will both find themselves celebrating a beautiful weekend in Winnipeg.
As the Jets return home for their final regular season game on Saturday, the temperature in the city is forecasted to hit 21 C. Seems appropriate the Jets play the Flames.
Both teams — both former Atlanta-based franchises — clinched playoff spots Thursday night.
The Jets are bringing NHL playoff hockey back to Winnipeg for the first time since 1996, and the weather is ideal for wearing jerseys and celebrating at Portage and Main.
Friday in Winnipeg will see a high of 12 C, Saturday 21 C, and 15 C on Sunday.
And when the playoffs start next week, Winnipeg will see some daytime highs of 18 C.
