Stabbed man in stable condition
A 19-year-old man is in stable condition after being rushed to hospital early Saturday morning with a stab wound to his abdomen, Winnipeg police say.
A 19-year-old man is in stable condition after being rushed to hospital early Saturday morning with a stab wound to his abdomen, Winnipeg police say.
Police said the man was caught up in some sort of argument at, or just outside, a restaurant in the city's West End.
When police arrived around 3 a.m. CT, they found the injured man on a transit bench across the street from the restaurant.
Paramedics treated him at the scene and then he received further treatment in the hospital. It was reported that the man was bleeding profusely and was transported in critical condition.
Police said he improved and was in stable condition later Saturday morning.
After investigation, police took three men and a woman into custody.
There was no word on charges.
