School bus tips over in crash with car near Holland, Man.

Eight young people and two adults have minor injuries after a school bus and a car collided south of Holland, Man., on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency crews and RCMP were called to the intersection of Highway 34 and Provincial Road 245 at around 4 p.m.

RCMP say a Prairie Spirit School Division bus that was crossing the highway was struck by a northbound car.

The bus tipped over as a result of the impact, police stated in a news release.

Six children inside the bus and the 59-year-old male driver sustained minor injuries. Police said the children's parents were notified and went to the scene shortly after the crash.

A 60-year-old woman who was driving the car and two "youth passengers" also had minor injuries, according to RCMP.

Police are investigating the collision.
