Rustlers frustrate RCMP
Cattle rustlers have struck again in southwest Manitoba. RCMP say that 56 cattle were taken from one farm this fall.
Cattle rustlers have struck again in southwest Manitoba. RCMP say that 56 cattle were taken from one farm this fall.
The 23 cows and 33 calves animals were tagged, but not branded. They're valued at about $50,000.
Constable Nathaniel Lim says rustling is a difficult crime to investigate.
"A lot of the pastures are in secluded areas where they're miles away from the actual farm site where the owner lives. If there's witnesses, that would help a lot."
Anyone that does have information about the rustling should call Killarney RCMP or Crimestoppers.
