Mountie and police dog find missing girl lost in the bush

The RCMP are giving kudos to a four-legged officer and his human handler for finding a missing girl.

Cst. Garfield Henderson and his police dog Enzo were called to the Rural Municipality of La Broquerie to help search for the missing four-year-old.

RCMP said the girl followed her dog into the bush and got lost in the heavy forest around her home. The officer-canine team found the girl in 20 minutes about a kilometre from her house.

RCMP said paramedics checked over the girl as a precaution since she was missing for just over an hour.

Henderson and Enzo have been partners since January 2013.
