A former pastor in Gretna, Man., faces voyeurism and child pornography charges after he was arrested by Carman RCMP on Wednesday.

He's charged with five counts of voyeurism, accessing child pornography and possessing child pornography.

The man was a church pastor in Gretna, a small town about 100 kilometres south of Winnipeg on the U.S. border. Police did not release his name but said he is no longer in a position at the church.

The same man was arrested and charged with seven counts of voyeurism and production of child pornography and released on a promise to appear in court in May 2014.

The charges followed an incident in 2012 when two female youths at Moose Lake Provincial Park discovered a "mobile device" inside the washroom of the place where they were staying, police said.

The device contained still images and video of the two girls, who were from the Rural Municipality of Rhineland, RCMP said.

The matter was reported to the RCMP in December 2013 and they started their investigation.

The man was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
