Canada's Walk of Fame, a tourist attraction in Toronto's entertainment district, added some stars to the pavement Saturday, including a singular honour for Winnipeg guitar great Randy Bachman.

Bachman was already on the Walk of Fame as a member of the Guess Who.

He joked he likes his new star better because he doesn't have to share it with anyone.

Other notables added to the Walk of Fame were Vancouver-based chanteuse Sarah McLachlan, Hamilton-raised C-F-L great Russ Jackson and Toronto ballerina Sonia Rodriguez.

Comic actor Phil Hartman was inducted posthumously.

Rodriguez said she didn't think she would ever be honoured like this because it's not the kind of recognition a ballet dancer normally gets.

The Walk of Fame was founded in 1998.
