Taxi driver pepper-sprayed in Winnipeg's North End

A Winnipeg cab driver was pepper-sprayed instead of being paid by a passenger Sunday night.

The driver stopped to drop off a man at McGregor Street and Redwood Avenue, in the city's North End, at about 11:30 p.m. The man then sprayed the driver and ran off, police said.

There have been no arrests.
