Culture Days event draws thousands to St. Boniface, downtown every year
Streets in and around downtown Winnipeg came alive Saturday night as thousands took in Nuit Blanche.
The annual Culture Days event has seen dozens of galleries, buildings, green spaces and streets converted into contemporary art exhibits every year since 2010.
The same happened this year, with 85 interactive art projects created by more than 250 artists from across Canada.
Activities were on display from St. Boniface west through downtown and into the West End, with the majority of events taking place in the Exchange District.
Festival organizers estimated that about 17,000 people visited the various installations in 2015.
The free events ran from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m..
More details about the event are available at the Nuit Blanche website.
